Key Passage: Psalm 46:1 – “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Message:
Life’s storms come uninvited. Loss, illness, financial strain, or emotional turmoil can shake us to the core. But God invites us to find refuge in Him—a safe place when the world feels unsafe.
A refuge is a shelter from danger. God doesn’t promise that we won’t face trouble, but He does promise that we won’t face it alone. He is ever-present—always near, always available, always strong.
When we run to God instead of our fears, He becomes our strength. In His presence, we find peace and perspective. Make Him your refuge today.
Application:
In your next moment of stress or anxiety, pause and speak this verse out loud. Let it remind you where to run—into the arms of your ever-present God.
Prayer:
God, You are my refuge. When trouble comes, help me run to You. Be my strength and peace. I trust You to carry me through. Amen.
