How Beholding Christ Transforms You | 2 Corinthians 3:18

Transformed by Beholding

Key Passage: 2 Corinthians 3:18 – “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

Message:
Transformation happens through beholding. As we fix our eyes on Christ, gazing at His glory, we are gradually transformed into His image. It’s not about trying harder—it’s about looking longer.

The veil has been removed through Christ. We can now look directly at the Lord’s glory without barrier. And as we look, we change. His glory rubs off on us. His character becomes ours.

This transformation is progressive—”ever-increasing glory.” Each day of beholding Christ brings us closer to His likeness. The more we see Him, the more we become like Him.

Application:
Spend time simply beholding Christ today—in worship, in Scripture, in prayer. Let His glory transform you.

Prayer:
Lord, I fix my eyes on You. Transform me into Your image as I behold Your glory. Let me become more like You every day. Amen.
