Safe in the Storm

Key Passage: Mark 4:39 – “He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’”

Message:
The disciples thought they were going to drown—yet Jesus was in the boat the whole time. Often, we panic in storms because we forget who is with us.

Christ doesn’t always prevent storms, but He promises His presence through them. And when He speaks, the chaos obeys. There is no storm too fierce for His voice.

Remember: your peace doesn’t come from calm circumstances, but from knowing the One who calms them.

Application:
Write down the “storm” you’re facing. Declare Jesus’ authority over it in prayer today.

Prayer:
Lord, speak peace over my storm. Quiet the anxiety in my heart and remind me that You are near. I trust in Your power and presence. Amen.
