God’s Promises
Key Passage: 2 Peter 1:4 – “Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.”
Message:
God’s promises are described as “very great and precious.” They’re not casual commitments—they’re divine guarantees of the highest value. Through them, we participate in God’s own nature.
These promises cover every area of life: salvation, provision, guidance, protection, presence, and future hope. God has spoken, and He keeps His word.
But promises must be claimed. They become powerful in our lives when we believe them, stand on them, and act according to them. Don’t just know the promises—live by them.
Application:
Identify a promise from Scripture that applies to your current situation. Claim it by faith and act accordingly.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your great and precious promises. Help me know them, believe them, and stand on them. I trust Your word completely. Amen.
