The Light of the World
Key Passage: John 8:12 – “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'”
Message:
Jesus is the light of the world. In Him, there is no darkness at all. When we follow Him, we don’t stumble in the dark—we walk in the light of life.
Before we knew Christ, we walked in darkness. We couldn’t see clearly—spiritually, morally, or purposefully. But Jesus changed everything. His light exposed the darkness and showed us the way.
Now, as we follow Him, His light guides our steps. Every decision, every relationship, every challenge is illuminated by His presence. We have the light of life.
Application:
Are there any areas of your life still in darkness? Invite Christ’s light to shine there. Let Him reveal and heal.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You are my light. Shine into every dark area of my life. Guide my steps and help me walk always in Your light. Amen.
